THE MOODY BLUES BACK ON THE ROAD, RECORDING PLANS ON HOLD

Is this a sign of things to come? The downward spiral continues......

The Moody Blues are currently out on the road performing a predominantly hits-based show. Moody's drummer and co-founder Graeme Edge says that the band is holding off on hitting the studio to record their next album until the record industry stabilizes a bit more: "We're discussing (it) with a lot of people, and there's plenty of time off for an album. But quite frankly, the record companies now are in serious troubles. CD sales have just disappeared."

The band hasn't released a new studio set since 2003's Christmas collection, titled December.

In 2005 the band released a live collection called Lovely To See You: Live From The Greek. The disc featured such Moodies classics as "Tuesday Afternoon (Forever Afternoon)," "The Voice," "I Know You're Out There Somewhere," "Nights In White Satin," "Your Wildest Dreams," "I'm Just A Singer (In A Rock & Roll Band)," "Question," "Ride My Seesaw," and others.

As always, comments are welcome.
